Senior Ecologist - Oxfordshire - £30-£35K
A specialized and renowned environmental consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Ecologist to join their successful team. Knowledgeable in many sectors, my client is known for its forward thinking and ability to resolve complex design and planning issues through a combination of ecology and landscape architecture.
The ideal Senior Ecologist will have an expertise in a specific field of ecology and hold at least one licence to survey for European Protected Species. Preferably educated to degree level in a relevant field, you will also have excellent communication and report writing skills alongside a good working knowledge of a broad range of British fauna and flora. Proven experience in Ecological Impact Assessments is desirable and strong interpersonal skills are a must.
The role of Senior Ecologist will include maintain existing client relationships and building new ones. You will be responsible for managing a number of projects and ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget. The role of the Senior Ecologist will involve carrying out and co-ordinating a wide range of habitat and species surveys, as well as undertaking challenging and interesting project work
