Senior Planner - Worcester

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Planner to join the busy Planning and EIA team of a fast-growing, multidisciplinary Environmental consultancy with a strong presence around the world. Due to an increased workload, as well as a number of staff on leave, the company are currently looking for two enthusiastic Planners to join their West Midlands/South West region on an initial six-month, fixed term contract.
The ideal Senior Planner will have a relevant educational background and will be a member of RTPI. You will have at least 3 years postgraduate experience in Town Planning, preferably within consultancy, with experience of working on Environmental based projects (waste, minerals, renewables) being of particular advantage to your application. You will have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), will ideally have experience leading projects, and you will be confident in building strong relationships with clients.
The Senior Planner will be working within the company's planning and EIA teams and will be involved in a range of projects, both in the development and environmental areas. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will immediately given responsibility within the team and will be encouraged to take the lead role on schemes.
