Principal Infrastructure Engineer - London
£30,000-£40,000 + Bens
My client is a fast-growing Engineering and Environmental consultancy with 15 offices based in the UK and beyond. They are currently on the lookout for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy London office and work on a wide range of land development projects in the region.
The ideal Principal Engineer will have a relevant educational background and will be either Chartered or approaching Chartership. You will have a strong technical background, particularly with Highways and Drainage design on private sector development schemes. You will have experience in managing projects, teams and mentoring junior members of staff, ideally coupled with NEC contract management.
The Principal Engineer will play a leading role within a dynamic Engineering team. Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Technical input and design on Highways and Drainage related projects
* Management of a range of multi-disciplinary land development schemes
* Contract and tender management
* Line management duties
* Staff mentoring
* Liaison with clients and managers
