Project Engineers for 2 new schemes with substantial temporary works. £8-11m packages. No 2 to PM on site. Experience in all below ground operations and logistics. Programming, planning, MS, RA, design input. Mixed use commercial in London. £200/shift.
Project Engineers x 2, degree qualified in Civil Engineering, with at least 3-4 years UK site based practical experience. Must have strong evidence of experience in Piling, Excavation, Heavy Temporary Works, Groundworks and RC. Design & Build experience is useful. Additional positions for an ambitious and progressive contractor. Working closely with the site based Project Managers, initially heavily involved with Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Programming and Planning. You must have a strong Technical Engineering background.
The Projects are both live in central London having just started, these packages run for 35 and 44 weeks respectively. New build mixed commercial / residential developments. You will immediately be involved in pre-construction works. Experience in Temporary Works and Design & Build procedures is essential with a working knowledge of Demolition, ground clearance, Piling, RC, Groundworks and RC framework all involved. Your experience in Design and Build with the relevant commercial implications will be fully utilised. You must have a strong and confident personality, able to deal with clients or main contractors.
Project Engineers. This is an ideal opportunity if you have a strong Engineering background and have worked in central London on similar schemes on projects over £8-10m. Also valuable is a good Commercial appreciation and the ability to use value engineering skills to assist the client and the contractor. You must be capable of clear oral and written communication; full IT literacy is essential.
Qualified to Degree level in Civil Engineering, you will have had at least 3-4 years practical site experience working for a specialist RC, Demolition or Groundworks sub contractor. Design & Build expertise is essential. A Site Engineering background, leading to a Senior / Project Engineering role, working on similar sized projects is essential. You must be technically competent, with the ability to deal with site staff, clients, suppliers and Professional staff alike.
The Role is available on a Permanent or Contract basis @ £200 per day and is negotiable based on your level of relevant experience.
