Transport Planner - Somerset

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, commercially aware Transport Planner to join the Somerset office of a global Engineering consultancy. Working mainly on Development Planning projects, the Transport Planner will support the Senior Engineers in the production of Transport Plans and Travel Assessments for high profile schemes for high private sector clients.
The company's Transportation division is tasked with offering transport planning advice and solutions for a range of new developments being built. Offering support to the Senior Engineers of the team, you will be involved in producing Travel Plans, Transport Statements and Transport Assessments, as well as liaising with local authorities and clients. The company pride themselves of the development of their staff, therefore you will actively be encouraged to work towards both a project management position and professional accreditations.
The ideal Transport Planner will have a good educational background, preferably with a Transport related post graduate qualification. You should have around 4 years experience working within the Transportation industry and will have specific experience working on projects for private sector clients.
