We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Principal Bridge Engineer to join a well known, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in their office in Reading.
The ideal Bridge Engineer will be Chartered within a recognised institution and will have 5 years post-Chartership experince. You will have a sound, wide ranging knowledge of design and inspection on both Highways and Rail Structures projects, and will have a good understanding of the relevant design codes and procedures. You will have previous experience in a similar Senior level role, and should be experienced in project management, client liaison and staff supervision.
As the Principal Bridge Engineer, you will be reporting to the Structures' Business Manager, and your responsibilities will include:
* Team management responsibilites
* Managing medium sized projects
* Client liaison
* Financial management
* Technical project design
* Mentoring junior team members
