There are currently a number of major Rail projects underway in Malaysia and our client is heavily involved in a number of them. As a result of this they are currently looking to hire a Design Director for the tunnelling and underground station sections of a major MRT project.
Reviewing and monitoring the design of 7 underground stations and 9.5km of bored tunnel you will be required to manage a team of 15 to 20 design officers from various disciplines.
You must have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have at least 25 years experience in the design of major infrastructure projects, preferably with MRT experience, and have a knowledge of tunnel lining and temporary earth retaining structure design for deep basements.
