Global Mobility Coordinator - Saskatoon
Air Energi is a world leader in international recruitment for the Oil and Gas industry. Our organization conducts local and international searches for senior engineering and technical personnel for major oil and gas companies and their supply chain. We have over 30 years experience globally and 12 years here in Canada, head office located in downtown Calgary.
Our Canadian operations have been in continuous growth since opening in Canada, and based on current and anticipated client needs this will remain the trend for years to come. We have recently won several new client contracts that have us seeking new team members immediately in all departments.
The key focus of this department is to provide support to our senior engineers that make up the balance of our contracted workforce. In addition, the Global Mobility team assists our Recruitment Consultants and Finance teams in a variety of ways to ensure both our contractors and clients receive a high level of service and support. The coordinator role inSaskatoon will be primarily responsible for assisting with the local onboarding and support to our newly arrived engineering Consultants.
This is a part-time hourly role with flexible working hours depending on the arrival dates and times of our Consultants. Successful candidates will need to be able to work evenings and/or weekends if required and be able to accommodate shifting schedules.
Responsibilities:
Consultant arrival coordination, and local market onboarding. This will be the primary function of the role and will include meeting consultants on arrival at airport, assisting in set up in temporary accommodations, local orientation, and first day start assistance in their new position with our client.
Assist in securing Social Insurance Numbers, setting up local banking, and related.
Some administrative support functions, including document management, control, and reporting.
Contractor Assignment follow up and support as required.
Strong candidates:
Have strong customer service skills and experience, proficient in Word, Excel, and comfortable working with a variety of online tools and systems
Excellent interpersonal skills both in person, and telephone, verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, and able to work independently taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
Drivers license, and a personal vehicle that can accommodate several passengers and luggage, van or SUV. Mileage reimbursed.
Personal home computer including printer. Consumable costs reimbursed.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience providing support and coordination for a recruitment or HR function, preferably with some exposure to immigration and mobilization processes. However, the successful candidate will receive extensive training in these areas, and we are pleased to help develop an individual that comes to us with all the necessary basic skills, and a strong interest to gain exposure and experience in these areas. Backgrounds could include those with strong hospitality experience, a variety of service industries where dealing one on one with customers is a key function, or volunteer organizations that provide similar services.
The successful candidate will receive strong support from our Calgary head office, and will work within a team of strong Global Mobility Consultants that have supported this range of consultant assistance for many years around the globe.
