Due to ongoing projects and expansion in Australia and other international locations we are currently looking to recruit for a Project Manager – Construction.
About the role:
As the Project Manager – Construction you will be required to oversee moderately complex project to ensure both Calibre and client objectives are met within the prescribed timeframe, cost, quality and in managing HSE and risk issues. The Project Manager will actively participate in project implementation, planning and critical decisions on the project liaising directly with the project management team.
You will be reporting to the Project Director, your responsibilities will include:
Establish and implement construction standards to ensure construction works comply with engineering drawings, design specifications, and clients standards across multiple projects
Coordinate and implement Construction planning processes across multiple projects to ensure adequate EPCM resources are available as required
Mentor and guide construction teams across multiple projects to successful completion of construction and commissioning works
Manages environmental and heritage protection
Directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
Position requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical discipline.
- Ten years related experience in construction management working on billion dollar projects.
- Project involvement from design through to commissioning.
- Experience with Safety Regulations, Employee Relations and general management concepts.
