Our operator client is looking for a specialist Flare and Relief Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands. This person will be responible for process engineering duties with focus on flare and pressure relief work.
Duties-
- Development, design and specification of adequate safeguarding systems to prevent overpressure of plant equipment. The work area ranges from relief valve to flare tip
- Technical assistance on all aspects of design, operational and structural improvements of these systems
- Sizing and selection of relief devices in accordance the relevant codes and recommended practices
- Performing flare hydraulic calculations (needed both for new plant design and plant modifications), both vapour and 2-phase
Requirements -
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
-Minimum of 5 years experience
- Ideally a process technologist who has experience in Flare and Pressure Relief Systems
