Project Quantity Surveyor – East Midlands - £Excellent
The Company
This Quantity Surveying role is with one of the leading main contractors in the UK. Their main specialty is in the retail sector where they have a major presence and an enviable client list. They predominately focus on new build, refurbishment and fit out’s for the major high street retailers and supermarkets and they have numerous long term frameworks in place.
The role
As a Quantity Surveyor for this role you will be responsible for controlling the financial / commercial aspects of the project. You will ensure that costs are tracked throughout liaising with the site so that projects are delivered within budget. You will be working as part of a team but will also be expected to manage your own workload. For this particular role you will need experience of running retail new build and/or extension projects for well known high street retailer and supermarkets. Projects will range in value from £500k - £5million. Depending on the nature of the project you could be either site or office based.
