Our client is a leading engineering consultant with an enviable reputation in delivering some of New Zealand's most exciting and innovative infrastructure projects. They are currently seeking a Senior Civil Structures Engineer to support the continued growth of their very busy Christchurch office and the recent earthquake disaster.
This role will see you get involved in a variety of predominantly marine and marine related projects pertaining to the Christchurch rebuild. In order to be considered for this role you will be a degree qualified Engineer with at least 10 years experience gained in structural engineering with a strong design background in marine and related port structures being ideal.
It is envisaged that you will hold Chartered status. Furthermore you will need to exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have previous project, team and client management experience.
Candidates with a practical background in designing according to seismic design codes will be given priority.
