Transport Modeller - Oxfordshire

My client is an expanding, multidisciplinary Engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Transport Planner with specific experience in Microsimulation modelling to join their busy Transportation team in Oxfordshire and work on a range of exciting private sector schemes.
The Transport Modeller will be working in a talented Transport Planning team alongside Transport Planners and Traffic Engineers, and will be tasked with enhancing and growing their capability in the Microsimulation modelling area. You will lead projects , build strong relationships with clients, and will offer guidance support to junior members of staff, in particularly within the modelling area.
The ideal Senior Transport Modeller will have a number of years in the industry and will have a range of project experience. You will have experience producing Travel Plans and Transport Assessments on a range of developments, and will be able to demonstrate a particular strength in the modelling area, particularly using Microsimulation packages such as SATURN and VISSIM. You will have excellent communication skills, and have experience in managing both people and budgets and client liaison.
