Senior Planner - £30,000 - £35,000 - Stockton on Tees

My client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy who offers a wide range of technical and management services as well as engineering and consultancy support to commercial, government and industrial clients across and range of different sectors.

My client is the lookout for a Senior/Principal Planner to join the team in Stockton on Tees.
The successful Senior Planner will be expected to contribute to and range of both small and large scale projects and collate input from other consultants and planners to ensure the delivery of each project is consistent and effective.

The ideal candidate will have:

*A degree or qualification in a relevant subject area (minimum HNC/D)
*Experience with relevant planning software packages such as Primavera P6
*Experience within project management and leading projects from implementation to completion
*Experience working within a team

The Ideal Senior Planner will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to clients and other consultants to ensure all aspects of the project run smoothly and are delivered on time and with all requirements fulfilled.

The candidate will have experience leading a team of consultants as well as external contractors. You will also be contributing to planning strategies for assigned projects to ensure each stage of the project is approached in the most effective way and suit the needs of the client. The successful candidate should also be able to plan and prioritise workloads with the ability to mentor junior staff and aid them with the different aspects of the field.
