Statistician (Water Engineering) - South West - circa £30K
My client a leading environmental research consultancy specialising in water and waste management is currently seeking a Water Statistician to be based in the South West.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of projects simultaneously across a range of business lines and will provide analysis and interpretation of data for clients in the water industry.
Joining an established team of Water Consultants and specialists, the successful candidate will have consultative experience of management and manipulation of technical data using databases and spread sheets as well as knowledge of statistical techniques including use of statistical package such as R, S-Plus, Genstat or similar. You should also be familiar with drivers arising from EU and UK legislation and influences on the EA, SEPA and Defra and have detailed understanding on data analysis.
Desired qualifications - BSc / MSc Statistics or similar
