My client is a leading steelwork construction company in need of an experienced Structural Steelwork Quantity Surveyor to join them in Auckland. This vacancy has a salary of $80-90k plus benefits.
Our client is looking for at least 5 years experience of quantity surveying in the steel industry. They are delivering structural steelwork construction and engineering needs to all sectors.
The successful candidate will be preparing and producing monthly valuations and cost reports, working on bids and tenders, attending meetings and liaising with clients/contractors, managing all costs with a view to maximising and agreeing the final account and developing strong relations with clients and sub-contractors.
Essential:
- Must have QS experience on high value primary steelwork projects
- A good understanding of commercial and financial processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience under large Mainand Sub Contractors would be a bonus
