As the number of projects inChristchurchincrease as the rebuild gets underway, so does the need for professional and experienced site managers. The need primarily lies within the commercial and industrial sectors with Residential works picking up in the New Year.
As Site Manager you will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and keep all aspects of the project including materials, staff and sub-contractors moving along in line with time constraints.
The ideal candidate will have gained experience in the construction sector and be looking to step up into to a more challenging, but equally fulfilling role. You will be involved with the man management on a variety of projects and have a track record of running a successful site. Your construction experience will be invaluable and you will ideally have some specific experience in the field of commercial or industrial projects. You will also be comfortable working on projects of $10M or more in value. Other attributes that will be beneficial but not essential to the role include,
- A recognised trade or construction qualification
- A positive and dynamic working attitude
- Hands on experience of construction works
- An ability to listen and communicate with both management and staff
- Man management skills and experience
- Flexibility of location
