Our client is the largest engineering consultant in New Zealand which allows them to secure involvement across a wide range of project types and scale. They have built a reputation for leading the way with groundbreaking solutions and many of New Zealand's iconic projects carry their mark.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well accomplished Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Auckland office and become part of an established nationwide group of Geotechnical professionals. This opportunity will see you get actively involved in a wide variety of projects in scope and size including involvement in some of the North Island's most iconic new highways initiatives as well as providing your technical expertise assisting your colleagues in other regions with their local projects including those of retaining wall and foundation design, and slip repairs.
In order to be considered for this position you will need to be a qualified Civil Engineer holding Chartered status, with a minimum of 10 years specialist geotechnical design experience; ideally within the roading sector.
