Senior Project Manager - Office Interiors
My client, a main contractor specialising in commercial and retail interiors etc. now seeks an experienced SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to join them in the London area either in the City or outskirts or London working on site on a commercial interiors fit out on a CONTRACT / FREELANCE basis.
The client is a specialist established contractor who work on commercial office interiors with project values from £1.5m to around £3m for both refurbishment and fit out.
THE CANDIDATE and DUTIES
You will be an experienced SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER and you should be able to manage projects within budget and on programme and quality.
You should have a good understanding of the contractual process and be able to manage, lead and co-ordinate the site team and site based contractors.
You will have responsibility for all site administration and the productions, updating and maintenance of the weeksly site report, drawing registers, maintaining a full set of up to date drawings on site for all trades and consultants, specifications, technical submissions, progress reports, CVI/RFI schedules, sample schedules, progress photographs.
You will take responsibility for all Health and Safety issues on site and be responsible for site based quality control and snagging. You will monitor and maintain the detailed construction programmes with the Contracts Managers assistance.
You should also have a good understanding of M&E systems and be computer literate. You will have an appropriate building construction qualification e.g. HNC, HND, BSc, CIOB, MAPM and have worked in a similar role previously.
Day rate is very negotiable probably in the region of £325 per day working as a Ltd company or via an umbrella company
