A specialist Architectural Practice in Suffolk are looking to grow their expanding business.
Your new company
A specialist practice in Suffolk deeply involved with heritage and conservation architecture. They undertake unique residential and commercial projects, often involving listed buildings and buildings of a historic nature. They also undertake specialist ecclesiastical work. They are a small-medium sized practice, with growing expansion plans.
Due to increasing workload they are looking for an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team.
Your new role
You will be working alongside a team of technicians, technologists, and architects, with a passion for conservation and heritage. You will have the opportunity to work on some fantastic buildings and new build projects. With ties to the Diocese you will also have the opportunity to work on some 60+ churches in the region, should you be accredited. You will also be working as part of a close team to achieve the greatest outcomes for your clients in a detailed and thoughtful manner.
What you'll need to succeed
As an architect you will need to be RIBA III Qualified. As a technologist you will be MCIAT, or on your way. Experience in the residential sector, undertaking one-off builds, and work to existing buildings including conversions and extensions is essential. Experience working on historic buildings, or having a conservation accreditation, such as AABC, would be extremely advantageous. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Evidence that you can draw "old-school" would also be beneficial.
