My client is one of Europe’s leading developer of high quality retail solutions. They are a complete supplier of turnkey retail solutions of over 500 stores, shop in shops, fairs, bars and restaurants, operating worldwide in 45 countries.
Do you have experience within the retail construction industry, and are you able to make decisions when things are moving fast? Are you capable of leading, motivating and giving direction? And do you want to be part of an international organization, in which you will have a key role in various construction and design/décor projects in the UK?
As project manager you will be responsible for managing the construction of stores in the UK. You will be part of the project from A-Z, and you will make sure that contractors, landlords, store owners and our client meet the project deadlines. Each year, you will be responsible for a handful of projects, lasting 2-4 months respectively, from receipt of order until the time the store is ready. Therefore, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously; including managing the constructions sites and continuously keeping in touch with store owners, sub-contractors and your European colleagues.
You will be responsible for client projects all over the UK so there will be some travelling. Usually, you will be travelling two days at a time, 60-80 days a year. At the same time, you will have a certain flexibility. You will be part of a team of dedicated architects, project managers, engineers and constructors within an informal organization where responsibility and cooperation is in focus.
Experience working with overseas companies is a plus.
