Graduate Building Surveyor - Consultancy - Cambridge

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 + benefits

Our client is a well-established, reputable Building Surveying consultancy based in Cambridge, and one of the largest multidisciplinary building and architectural consultancies in Europe. You will join this small team as a Graduate Building Surveyor to deliver expert advice and solutions in Cambridgeshire and East Anglia, working alongside a number of professionals in different disciplines to complete large projects over the entire lifecycle of a building.

Your professional development will be encouraged and supported with guidance from chartered surveyors in the business, and your training will take a structured approach with weekly APC meetings and progress reviews to ensure you advance far in your career in Building Surveying.

Past projects have included high-end, award-winning residential housing, a large central restaurant in a major UK city, and the restructuring and expansion of a UK train station.

Your role as a Graduate Building Surveyor will include Contract Admin and Project Management, Specification and design, report writing, and regularly traveling to assist in the management of small to medium-sized projects.

As an Intermediate Building Surveyor, you will ideally have:

  • RICS accredited degree in Building surveying
  • Around a years' experience in Building Surveying, preferably with experience managing medium-sized projects
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask is essential
  • Good IT skills
  • Full clean driving licence is essential
