About the Client: Are a leading specialist contractor delivering the full spectrum of Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Reinforced Concrete Structures throughout London and the South East. They work in partnership with the UK’s leading contractors and developers, they have a proven track record in delivering schemes safely, on time, within budget and to the highest of quality. The projects traditionally range from £15,000 through to £3.75m with our on-site teams having the full support of our head office services including plant, design and logistics. They have a turnover of £5million have predicted significant growth in the coming years.

About the Role: Due to continued growth, and work already secured for the majority of 2014 already, they are now seeking to take on degree qualified, hands on Contracts manager, with a real brand in industry. Someone who has real live, relevant site experience that can push this already growing specialist client forward to the next level, ideally one that has managed “blue chip” contractors. You will need to be technically very strong, client focused, but with a hands on approach also, as well as being able to work well under pressure, as you will be head contracts manager, and the main person operationally.  A good opportunity for a PM looking to make that step up.

About the requirements: They would require a hands on Manager, with a driven and determined approach to deliver on time. Someone very much client focused, able to deliver, and help drive things operationally. You would need to be degree qualified, and at least 10 years’ experience in Groundworks/RC Frames or large well known & respected Main Contractor.
