Cost Planner - Facilities services
This leading Service Provider is looking for a Cost Planner to sit between the Estimating and Bid Management Functions as part of the bid team after an internal transfer in the South Yorkshire office.
The client is a major player in Facilities Management with large accounts in defence, health, communities and other government services.
The successful Cost Planner will lead the pricing of small and less complex tenders as well as contribute to the development of bid solutions, develop pricing models and summarise the financial considerations of tenders.
Reporting directly to the Bid Manager and Operational Lead you will develop the pricing strategies and manage financial submission.
You will assure accuracy, competitiveness and compliance of tenders on all pricing returns from supply chain, M&E estimating etc.
Support the Bid Manager in bid negotiations and presentations.
The successful Cost Planner will have very strong financial and numerical skills as well as being proficient in Excel. Preferably from a facilities background and bidding background or will have the ability to challenge the norm with your energy whilst building strong relationships with clients.
Basic Salary of £40000-£5000
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
