Thanks to a continued increase in projects that sees no signs of abating, they require an Electrical Engineer with a background in the design of HV infrastructure to join their team.
- Design of HV / electricity connections (11kV, 33kV) for projects in a range of sectors, including residential, commercial and industrial
- Liaise with asset owners and Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to obtain point of connection and design approval
- Ensure designs are carried out in accordance with utility standards
- Offer cost estimates for these new connections projects
Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within the HV / power distribution sector is essential, gained with either an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) or a DNO. A qualification in Electrical Engineering is required as is knowledge of the HV / utilities industry.
