Contracts Manager- Heritage / Listed Building Restoration – SW London
SSA are recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor who undertake the restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings in London and the surrounding area's.
About the Client: Our client undertake refurbishment & restoration of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings in and around London. that hold historical significance. For over 25 years they have led in this specialist sector, due to growth in the business they are seeking to employ a Contracts Manager to be based in their Head Office in South West London.
About the role: Based in South West London and reporting into the Contracts/Production Director our client is looking for somebody to manage projects within budget and on programme, to the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
You will have overall financial control of a series of projects including organising and operating effective control over sites, through site managers including health & safety and CDM requirements.
You must be able to mobilise, manage and co-ordinate subcontractors in conjunction with Site Manager along with the ability to achieve financial targets and maintain strict budgetary control to achieve complete client satisfaction on all contracts.
About the requirements: You must be a highly motivated and dynamic as well as commercially minded individual with a proven track record of managing contracts. Ideally experience within the field of external refurbishment and restoration. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and be responsible for projects from commencement to completion, including financial matters. You must be a flexible and well organised individual who can work well under pressure and fixed deadlines.
About the benefits: £40K - £50K salary dependant on experience with an excellent package including pension scheme, onsite gym, assistance in training and sub subscriptions among other things.
