SSA are recruiting on behalf of a market leader in the interior fit out sector for Ireland, the UK. They specialise in partition systems, ceilings and bespoke solutions serving the Residential and Commercial Markets

Due to their established and successful reputation in the London market, they have worked on some of the largest and most prestigious construction projects.

Our client is seeking to add a Project Manager with full Fit Out experience on one of their projects in Central London

PROJECT MANAGER

FUNCTION:

  • Responsible for the complete management of contracts from award to completion.

DIRECT REPORTS:

  • Reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Contracts Director

FUNCTIONAL REPORTS:

  • Has a strong functional relationship with Quantity Surveyors, Surveying Manager, Commercial Manager and Health and Safety Advisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organise and monitor all aspects of the contract including but not limited to:

      -  Material procurement

 

      -  Sub-Contract procurement

 

      -  Health and Safety

 

      -  Quality Control

 

      -  Financial Planning

 

  • Arrange and attend regular contract review meetings with all members of the contract team
  • Ensure all monthly internal progress reporting forms are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure good regular communication is maintained with the client
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with our clients therefore assisting in the continual growth of the company
  • Attend and participate in monthly general business review meetings
  • Attend and assist in tender review meetings prior to submission

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • CITB SMSTS Health and Safety
  • NVQ Level 4
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Good working knowledge of all construction trades
  • Knowledge of materials, methods of work and tools
  • Experience in setting targets and fixing rates within budget
  • IT literate with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to coach and develop staff
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and web based project management systems, such as 4 Projects, Priority1 and BIW mobile technologies
  • Relevant CSCS card (platinum)

It is essential that the candidate has a strong grounding and experience in the full fit out packages coming from a trades background and having previously managed similar projects in the UK. 

SALARY:

£55,000-£65,000 DOE + Package
