Permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor role - Specialist Residential Developer
Senior Quantity Surveyor role located in Hampshire with projects located local to the Dorset / Hampshire region. The role is paying a competitive market salary up to £60,000 and includes a generous employment package. Joining the existing Commercial Department, your responsibilities will include the management of numerous residential projects simultaneously.

An ever expanding residential developer who specialise residential apartments across the South Coast. This family-run business have been established for a number of years and won a number of awards and accolades for the quality of work they produce. It is because of their successful business model over the past few years that they are now looking for a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business.
Your New Role:
It is due to future expansion plans that the firm require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. As a growing regional developer the opportunity within the business is high. Within the role you will be expected to take on a high level of commercial responsibility, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Duties within the role will include:
- Planning and Subcontract Procurement
- Take Offs
- Some involvement in the purchasing of materials
- Chasing Payments
- Cost Reviews
- Final Accounts
What you'll need to succeed:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 10 years' experience from a Residential Development background. A HNC/HND or BSc in relevant construction degree. Projects will typically range from 10-70 units with surrounding commercial units, so experience managing similar project is advantageous. You must have a strong technical background and be computer literate with a pro-active work ethic. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager and relevant directors.
