Growth is firmly on the agenda and there are exciting times ahead for Property Services, which is a pioneering, award winning team with a national reputation.

We are a large, integrated, multi-disciplinary team, delivering a vast range of building, landscape and asset management projects for a wide variety of clients, by matching a commercial sector approach to a public sector brief.

We have a vision that will see us working more closely with other public sector partners, and in new, dynamic ways, to ensure genuinely sustainable growth for the future. We are ambitious – which means we can offer enviable career opportunities, training and development, to talented people keen to broaden their horizons and enhance the lives of others. Our teams have a progressive approach and mind-set, and we understand how important work-life balance is for our employees. So, you could benefit from family-friendly flexible working while still having a challenging and fulfilling job.

This post presents a unique opportunity to help shape and grow the planning role within Hampshire County Council. You will work alongside Programme Planners and Managers to instil and embed effective project and programme planning into the Council’s education capital programme.

Working in the Regional Programme Management Team, you will be involved in a wide range of planning activities developing and delivering local and strategic policy, schemes and projects. You will map key milestones, forecast and plan resources needed to deliver projects; guide and support project leads, ensuring their information is consolidated into consistent strategic reports.

This job would suit someone experienced in working with and co-ordinating multi-discipline design teams – a planner, design manager or project manager.

Our Organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults. We expect all employees, workers and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.
