A dynamic and expanding Private Practice located within close proximity of Edgware tube station are seeking an Experienced Building to help expand their Building Surveying team and assist in the growing of the business. With uncapped career potential meaning potential equity for the right candidate, this role is ideal for an Experienced Building Surveyor either looking to reduce their commute from Central London or someone who has entrepreneurial qualities and wants to assist in the expansion of a Private Practice.

The Company

A rapidly expanding Private Practice who have been established in North West London for the last 30 years. Offering a broad spectrum of work in both the high end Residential and Commercial sector's in Central London and Hertfordshire, this practice have strong expansion plans over the next 3 years and have an extremely high level of retained business.

The Role

The Experienced Building Surveyor will have responsibilities in both expanding the Building Surveying team and the overall company. Duties will include;

  • Professional Building Surveying matters including Dilapidations and Specifications
  • Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters
  • Running projects from start to finish
  • Act as a vocal point to the Building Surveying team (currently 6 strong)
  • Assist in the development of APC candidates

The Successful Experienced Building Surveyor

This is a role ideal for an MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor seeking a pathway to Associate Directorship in a company where there are no ceilings to career potential.

  • 5+ years Private Practice/ Consultancy Building Surveying experience
  • MRICS preferable
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Experience in dealing with both Project and Professional Building Surveying matters
  • Committed to career progression
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
