Demolition Contracts Manager, Civils contractor strong Demolition history. Experience in projects to £25m ideally in UK. IDE member, £120k + package
Ideally senior person with practical experience. Will consider all levels if you have relevant experience in demolition. Additional requirements for successful Civils contractor with a strong Demolition history. Able to handle projects from £2 to £25m dealing with all parties. £120,000 + negotiable package. IDE membership preferred. London and south-east region. Demolition CSCS card.
Project Engineers would be suitable for a No 2 role or smaller sites @ £60-65k plus.
Either on PAYE positions with suitable benefits or on a contract basis.
Contracts Manager, Demolition. New position for extremely successful contractor with over 50 years’ experience in the civil, structural and demolition industries. IDE member preferred. The role may suit a Project Manager who is ready for the next career move and has worked on substantial projects.
The Contractor is able to offer leading and innovative solutions to complex demolition and deconstruction schemes. With many high profile and notable landmark projects over the years, they need an extremely capable Contracts Manager.
Demolition Contracts Manager
Duties will include:
- Managing projects from the Pre Construction phase through to contract completion
- Responsibility for Safety, Health and Environmental issues
- Responsibility for Project Team management and delegation.
- Contractual administration, program delivery, financial control, resource and task scheduling, sub-contractor governance and daily on-site project management reviews.
Qualifications. IDE membership ideal with Demolition CSCS card. Ideally coming from a heavy Civil Engineering background with a Civil Engineering Degree, though your experience in Demolition would be more relevant; at least 4-6 years recent UK experience would be expected. You will be expected to have all the relevant Demolition qualifications, good IT literacy and a strong commitment to Health and Safety and be able to demonstrate your recent successful projects.
Remuneration to £120,000 + negotiable package or on a contract basis. This role is fundamental to the continued development and growth of one of the core divisions within the Group. As such the Contractor is intent on attracting the very best Contracts Manager. Remuneration packages are negotiable and in line with the calibre of the candidate and will be appropriate.
