Graduate Property Surveyor
Excellent new job for Graduate Property Surveyor in Blackburn with APC support.
Your new company
You will be working for one of the leading multidisciplinary consultancies who provide a broad range of professional services covering the design, construction, engineering and property markets. Due to a period of continued growth they are looking to expand the property team with a graduate property surveyor based in Blackburn offering APC support to become chartered.
They work across public and private sector clients and projects include major town centre regeneration schemes, land and property disposals, acquisitions, Asset Management, Property Valuations and Property Management of diverse and interesting property portfolios.
Your new role
The role will consist of providing a broad spectrum of support to the property valuation and asset management activities, including associated negotiations, property reviews, rent reviews, lease renewals and lettings together with assistance on regeneration and development opportunities. The work is diverse ranging from the management of office and shops through to local markets and statutory allotments. You will provide asset management and valuation support to the surveying teams in accordance with professional standards and best practice. To carry out inspections, valuations and negotiations for the disposal of property, asset valuations and insurance valuations. To support regeneration and redevelopment activity, including engagement with developer companies other professionals and key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be willing to contribute as a member of the national Transactional Estates Team with the intention of providing an efficient Property Management and development service whilst developing their own career by studying for a relevant associated qualification. Support and supervision will be available and provided by experienced colleagues in order to deliver the main tasks. You will be degree qualified in estates management or property related degree. You will have a full drivers licence. You will also have An understanding of public and private sector property and commercial property management.
