Are you an experienced Structural Technician currently working on a variety of building structures projects specifically the design of steel and portal frames? Are you looking to join a medium-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy based near South Birmingham? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

You must have at least 2 years' worth of UK experience as a Structural CAD Technician using AutoCAD. Tekla/ Revit experience is also beneficial.

Working as a Structural Technician Structural Technician (Steel Frame Design) you will be;

  • Detailing and managing light steel frame projects from start to finish
  • You will be working in both 2D & 3D applications (3D in Revit/ Tekla advantageous)
  • Producing accurate drawings and schedules in accordance to the project specifications.
  • Working with engineers to translate outline engineering proposals to detailed design drawings, understanding the relationship between the project disciplines.
  • Liaising with other members of the team to understand the requirements of the project.

Commutable Locations: Birmingham, Halesowen, Tamworth, Warwick, Dudley, Solihull, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Rugby, Kidderminster, Stourbridge
