Building Surveyor Residential Asset Management

Building Surveyor required for planned maintenance and major works residential stock improvements.
This established Social Housing provider based in East London requires an experienced Building Surveyor for a permanent role to survey and specify programmes of works on a mixed portfolio of properties including Victorian terrace and more modern low rise blocks. This role involves working with the reactive maintenance and development team tendering and letting contracts to enable the planned maintenance programme and major refurbishment projects.
Duties also include:
- Management of contractors and supervision of external consultants
- Compliance of H&S including CDM and control of Asbestos
- Ongoing stock condition and collation of data for the asset management database.
- Attending regular meetings with contractors, tenants and other stakeholders
The ideal Building Surveyor would hold a relevant professional qualification and a HND or Degree in surveying.
