Planning Enforcement Officer
Permanent Planning Enforcement job in North London paying £35,000 to £45,000, depending upon experience

Situated in North London, this planning job is based with a forward thinking local authority that has acquired major investment for some of the largest regeneration schemes in the Capital. Following investment by a national service provider, the new organisation is investing in cutting edge planning technologies and investing heavily in staff training.
Your new role
This is an exciting role that will involve working on the front line of the council's planning department. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for investigating, enforcing and monitoring planning breaches throughout the borough while maintaining excellent customer service levels and consistently hitting targets.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an RTPI recognised planning degree or an international equivalent. You will have a track record in working with a council or planning consultancy processing or assisting with planning applications. Your communication skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and strengths in project management will allow you to see through politically important planning applications. International experience would be considered.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 (depending upon experience) but a higher salary would be offered if you have suitable experience. You will get access to parking and work related travel expenses paid for as well as a company matched pension and commission scheme for new business.
