Infrastructure Engineer required to work for a growing Civil & Structural consultancy
Hays Civil & Structural Engineering currently have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy Derby office.
Our client have a track record of delivering projects for a variety of residential, commercial, retail, industrial and education clients, amongst others, and are looking to grow their infrastructure team with the appointment of an additional engineer.
With a solid background gained within Civil Engineering, the successful candidate will act as a lead designer on elements of highway design for projects from concept through to detail design and be technically responsible for ensuring designs are delivered in accordance with current standards.
You will have the ability to undertake and lead others in the design of drainage, pavement, signs (and preferably road restraint systems and ideally have a working knowledge of the Traffic Signs Manual, DMRB and DfT SFHW along with industry standard software such as PDS, Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, KeySigns, KeyLines, Bentley MX etc
Additionally you will deliver varied projects that require roads and drainage designs that are subject to Section 38, 278 & 104 approvals, so previous experience of this would be an advantage.
