Our client looks after a large number of non-residential properties and over a 170 open space areas valued at over £100m. They have assets ranging from land and property, to offices, car parks to sports facilities, these need to be Managed to ensure they are running as efficiently as possible.

You will need extensive experience of development projects, acquisition, disposal, income generation, managing a diverse portfolio, partnership working, and economic development.

You will deliver returns on premises and assets for the benefit of the Council and residents, visitors and business community. You will be working alongside the planning, regeneration, and economic development teams.

You will be able to manage the overall strategy for asset management, disposal and acquisition. You will be working closely with our neighbouring partner authorities on shared delivery arrangements to ensure innovative asset management and acquisition.

We are looking for Candidates from the public or private sector, local government experience would be an advantage but not essential, you will be RICS or equivalent qualified and able to show us where you have managed and maintained a varied asset portfolio involving improved management, disposal, acquisition and development. You will be a strategic thinker and strong communicator with good networking, negotiation and communication skills, confident sharing information with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder's.
