Regional Building Manager
Project Manager required for large building company in Edinburgh, Fife and Lothians
Your new company
Our client is a highly successful National builder looking to recruit a Regional Project Manager to assist them in delivering a firs-class service to their customer base. Coming from a trades background, you will have a minimum of 10 years experience of working at managerial level as there is a high level of site supervision and customer service delivery in the role.
Your new role
You will be involved in the management of between 30-40 domestic extensions and small works up to the value of 60K. You will take these projects from foundations, substructure and superstructure through to roofs and finishings. You will be able to manage sub contractors and suppliers, order materials, and control Health & Safety on site. The successful candidate will ensure the sites and running to programme and keep the clients involved at all stages of the job as well as managing multiple contracts at different stages. The role holder will also be expected to build relationships with the suppliers that the company have historically used, and will also deal with the firm's internal manufacturing business which produces a large amount of the precast units used in their developments.
What you'll need to succeed
A solid background in Site Management is essential as is the ability to deal with any customer complaints quickly and effectively. It's anticipated that you will be able to demonstrate sound customer service experience. Possession of a current driving license is required as this role will cover Scotland.
