Health & Safety Officer

A market leading development company specialising in residential build as well as a number of other sectors including maintenance and refurbishment across all property types are now looking for an experience and passionate professional to join them as Health & Safety Officer. With a substantial portfolio throughout the UK and ever increasing demands this opportunity arises out of growth and a continued company ethos of proactive health and safety.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Health & Safety you will be working in a company with a diverse portfolio, one that allows you to see many different developments within construction from new build residential and commercial properties business to 14th century refurbishments.
You will be expected to do an all-encompassing health & safety role dealing with site inspections, risk assessments, identifying site needs & problems to name a few. You will be excepted to lead a great safety culture and consistently improve all aspects of Health & Safety across the business.
Travel would be expected dealing within projects in the North West and occasionally further afield.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you would need at least NEBOSH General or Construction as well as proven experience within new build or refurbishments projects.
You will need to have the ability to undertake relevant site specific needs within these sites. Have demonstrated a pro-active mentality to Health & Safety within previous relevant employment whilst also feeling confident and experienced enough to start implementing and working within their environment.
