Come and be part of the world's leader in construction and engineering!

The company have delivered some of the most complex and sought after projects in the UK, spanning over 50 years. Their order book is bursting full of exciting new major projects that include Thames Tideway and HS2. Due to recent developments on one of their key Crossrail projects they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The project is a major depot that involves complex engineering, construction and M&E works. They require a Quantity Surveyor to oversee some key packages of work that will include the structures, building and rail systems (signalling, P-Way, OHLE) sub-contracts totaling in the region of £40m. You will be involved in change control and monthly cost reporting, as well as assisting the Commercial Lead and mentoring some junior members of the team.

This contractor has an excellent reputation for training and development as well as always pushing to promote from within rather than externally, allowing professionals looking for the senior management path to flourish.

The suitable applicant will need to be a team player but possess the ability to work independently, offering advice and solving issues as and when they arrive. A background in rail will be advantageous but experience in using the NEC is a necessity due to the nature of how the contract is delivered. The role will suite an ambitious Quantity Surveyor with an extensive infrastructure or rail background.
