Building Control Surveyor

A highly motivated and established Local Authority based in Bedfordshire have an exciting opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join their team. Alongside your new team you will be delivering a customer focused Building Control service to the high standards of the Local Authority.
Your new role
As a Building Control Surveyor you will be working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will be situated in the Building Control section of the Planning Division but approximately 75% of your time will be involved with work outside the office on onsite inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Building Control Surveyor you will be a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or have an equivalent qualification with experience in Building Control work e.g. as a surveyor. You will have specialist knowledge of the principles, practises and regulations governing Building control and Building construction in a commercial environment.
You would have undertaken plan assessments and site inspections in a building regulation environment as well as experience working for the Local Authority.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a temporary contract for 3-6 moths and depending on your experience your hourly rate will range between £20 - £45 Per Hour.
