An opportunity has arisen for a Land Manager for the Ministry of Defence based in the South East. The contract is initially for 3 months with the possibility of an extension depending upon workload. The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified or have a degree in Land Management with 2 years post qual experience within industry.

Duties and responsibilities for this role include:

To assist in the management of the Rural and to some extent the Built Estate. To assist in the development and improvement of training.
Lease/licence management and provision of advice to the main customer and liaison with other customers and stakeholders on all aspects of property management.
This includes various clients that lie within agricultural, residential, telecommunications and commercial sectors.
You must undertake agreements that include tenancies; lettings, hiring, rent reviews, rent arrears management and control, renewals, terminations, surrenders and dilapidations.
In addition the estate surveyor will have significant stewardship and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
