The business advisory team of this leading consultancy is seeking an experienced, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, to join their team in the London office at Associate grade.

You will be working with their specialist team in delivering technical due diligence services and providing advice to funders on a variety of projects across a number of sectors including residential, office, retail, leisure, education and health.

You will be reporting on your own projects with values typically ranging from £100k – £100m+.  You should have experience in at least one of the above sectors, ideally having reported on projects valued at £10m+.

You will be required to work closely with banks and project team members including developers, contractors, professional consultants, legal and insurance advisers.

You will be degree qualified, MRICS and ideally already have a proven track record of providing bank monitoring services including initial reporting to assist in securing funding, construction monitoring and drawdown valuations throughout the construction period.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to fully understand construction risks, a knowledge of construction contracts and alternative methods of procurement, costs and programme delivery issues throughout the development process.

Confident and client-facing, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and to priorities your own work.
