Project Engineer
Job Type

ESG is the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services. We’re looking to add a Project Engineer/CAD Draughtsman to our enthusiastic Water Treatment Equipment and Services team. You’ll be equipped with the latest technology and given outstanding training. As our people are the foundation of our business, we invest in them to make sure we stay at the forefront of our field.

Your challenge
A leading provider of equipment for water treatment, ESG is home to a talented technical department. As a Project Engineer/CAD Draughtsman, you’ll be right at the heart of the team, providing design, installation and manufacturing drawings, and looking after our BIM library. We’re looking for clear and accurate mechanical drawings, and a great library of 2D and 3D AutoCAD/BIM models. You’ll also assist with project work, preparing GANTT charts, liaising with the different departments and clients as required.

Your profile
This key role calls for excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor/BIM level 2 – ideally gained in a mechanical design environment. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be organised, professional and good with both clients and ESG managers. It’s important that you can express yourself clearly, drive projects from the front and make sure they’re delivered to deadlines. Used to working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll pride yourself on building our reputation for quality and client focus.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and all the benefits of working for a dynamic and growing organisation, including generous holidays, company pension, expenses for accommodation and travel, in addition to discounts on high street shopping. What’s more, you can expect a clear route for progression, with technical and professional training.
