The Role. This is a new position for an extremely successful Demolition & Civils contractor with over 25 years London based experience. This is a role that requires a strong technical understanding and an appreciation of the paperwork and contractual duties placed on the Contractor. £100,000+ with package.
Project. Large scheme in central/SW London. Involves demolition, façade retention, piling, excavation, deep basement and RC frame
Key duties will include:
- Running all Demolition aspects of your project
- Responsibility for Safety, Health and Environmental
- Responsibility for Client/Contractor relationship, Project Team management and delegation.
- Working on Method statements, Risk Assessments and Programming.
- Programme delivery, financial control, resource and task scheduling, sub-contractor governance and daily on-site project management reviews
Qualifications. Ideally coming from a heavy Civil Engineering background with a Civil Engineering Degree; at least 6-8 years recent and relevant UK experience working for reputable demolition contractors would be expected. Current Demolition qualifications and tickets are essential; able to demonstrate your recent successful projects.
Initially this may be either a contract position or a permanent placement. Project is about to commence and an immediate start is available. Additional work means that the company’s regular staff are currently working elsewhere. High quality supervisors and foremen will be in the field supervising the work in hand, enabling you to focus on the organisational side.

Remuneration. £100,000 negotiable, with a company package to suit. This role is fundamental to the continued development and growth of one of the core divisions within the Group and will offer career opportunities.
