Tips and help
What is RSS?
RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is a web feed format which can be used to publish any frequently updated content such as news, blogs and jobs.
How will it benefit me?
RSS is an easy way to keep updated on the jobs that are of interest to you. Instead of having to go to websites to see if there's a new job, you can use RSS to tell you every time the jobs you want are updated. The RSS feed provided by Careers in Construction contains up-to-date content of all the latest jobs, sent automatically through a feed reader. It offers a simple way of keeping track of the latest jobs everyday, so you won't miss out on your ideal job!
How do I use RSS?
You will need an application called a news reader. There are lots to choose from including freeware and shareware. These readers display RSS information feeds from your chosen websites on your computer.
To get set up, all you have to do is copy the URL of any links you see in the site into your RSS aggregator and you'll receive the latest jobs as soon as they are advertised on the site.
