Senior Transport Planner
My client now seeks a SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER to join them in the City of London.
You will need to have experience of project managing and providing technical support on rail projects.
You could be involved in a wide range of duties including demand forecasting, rail strategy development, scheme appraisal, market analysis, business impact and operational assessment.
This is a great opportunity to join a large firm who work on projects for TfL, Department for Transport, Network Rail, train operators and franchise bidders.
Our client has managed some of the UK's most high profile Transport Planning and Infrastructure projects.
Our client is a large multi discipline firms of construction and engineering consultants with offices right across the U.K. and overseas.
You will need to be an experienced Transport Planner.
You will need to have gained good experience of working on planning for rail projects.
Experience of planning and evaluation of future pulic transport strategies and schemes.
You will have an understanding of economic appraisal including WebTAG.
You will be ale to use standard rail industry tools such as PDFH, MOIRA and / or Railsys.
Experience of working on UK rail and wider public transport projects in a transport planning role essential.
You will have good experience of public transport modelling software.
You should have professional accreditation such as CMILT, TPP, CIHT or MICE.
