About the Client: The Company has for many years been carrying out reinforced concrete works as part of its other main activities. During the past 10 years we have established a Reinforced Concrete Structures Division which carries out larger and more complex contracts. The structures division has expanded into concrete frames, basements and ground floor slabs, retaining walls and other associated work. With a background in tunnelling, the company continues to retain its core activities which also include shaft sinking and specialist groundworks as well as expansion into all types of civil engineering and construction. The Company carries out various types of groundworks and enabling works either as a separate contract or within one of our larger schemes.
About the role: This is an ideal role for someone with a degree qualified background that has managed sites for the past 3 years. This project is a high rise apartment block and is already in the ground so they need a strong commercially aware Project Manager that can hit the ground running. This is a role for someone looking to take on bigger sized projects on for an extremely well run, professional RC specialist that has a reputation for having some of the best technically minded operational staff.
About the requirements: You must be degree qualified, ideally in civil engineering, and have continually progressed your career from an engineering background, and have managed sites at least to the value of £5m, and be commercially minded and strong PM, able to liaise professionally with clients and represent the best interests of this well respected client.
