Description

This role is primed for someone who seeks responsibility and to take the next step in their career, and an excellent opportunity for growth and development. Working alongside a co-director within the Industrial/Logistics division of the business, your role will have an "operational" bias (whereas their role by contrast will have more of a business development focus) seeing you lead a team of Architects, Technologists and Assistants on projects from inception through to completion.

You pride yourself on quality of work delivered and strive to get the best out of your team for your clients and their projects. Naturally this in turn will result in repeat business, and there will be an overlap and sharing in responsibilities with you co-director, albeit your focus will be with existing client base.

Profile

This position is business critical and you will play a pivotal role within the business to further deepen and develop relationships with their existing client base through exceptional service and work, and to promote healthy internal relationships internal within your team and the wider business. As such the ideal candidate will:

  • Be at a senior level within your existing business with experience of both people and project management skills;
  • Strong leadership and the ability to lead a project through all RIBA work stages successfully;
  • Develop and enhance business relationships - both internal and external;
  • Confidently and articulately engage with all clients, board-members, employees and stakeholders alike;
  • Business acumen with an ability to manage work load, assess risk, resource for projects and manage finances within budgetary constraints;
  • Keen to contribute to the development of a growing practice.
  • Computer Literacy:

  • Knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp and AutoCAD are essential;
  • REVIT is not required but would be beneficial;
  • Job Offer

    Excellent opening for an ambitious character to develop and further their career within a market leading Architectural Practice. In return there is a highly attractive and competitive remuneration, with bonus scheme, extensive benefits and opportunity in the future for equity.
