Integra Technical Services are an international firm of loss adjusters specialising in the management and negotiation of insurance claims in various industry sectors, including power, renewables, mining, oil, gas and petrochemicals together with construction and engineering.

We are currently seeking to supplement our team with a chartered quantity surveyor, to be based in the Group’s City of London head office. The role will involve reviewing and evaluating insurance claim submissions, assisting in the scoping of sustained damage and producing estimated quantities, preparing theoretical measurements of quantum, evaluating repair bids and contract documents, and negotiating claim settlements.

Assignments will flow from our work in the wider EMEA region, with opportunities for travel within this region, working with colleagues on a team basis, to successfully manage claim assignments to a mutually satisfactory conclusion.



  • Construction / engineering industry related degree
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors


  • Preferably from a contractor perspective with some overseas experience of large projects, however candidates from private practice with relevant international experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of the measurement and pricing of mechanical, electrical and process engineering projects
  • Knowledge of the operation and administration of the main construction and engineering contract forms
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification
  • Experience in compiling and / or reviewing and negotiating contractual and / or insurance claims
  • Proven ability to operate collegiately within a team
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills

  • Cost estimating expertise
  • Mediation expertise  / qualifications
  • Time line preparation and / or assessment involving contract programming, including use of Microsoft Project / Primavera etc.
  • Fluency in a second language relevant to the region

The role could eventually develop into an overseas positing in one of our offices and offers the opportunity to train and qualify as a Chartered Loss Adjuster, should this be of interest to the candidate.
